■ It shows the life and death of Brazilian motor-racing champion Ayrton Senna, directed by

■ Directed by AnthonyWonke and executive-produced by Asif Kapadia, who directed
Senna (2010) andAmy (2015).
■ Ronaldo was shot over 14 months with the film-makers gaining access to Ronaldo's
private life and inner circle of friends, family and team-mates.The film was shot in
Madeira, Ronaldo's birthplace, Lisbon, where he began his professional career with
Sporting CP, and Madrid, where he currently resides as a squad member of Real
Madrid.
4. Rooney:The Man BehindThe Goals
■ The documentary was aired on the BBC in 2015 and is about footballerWayne Rooney
who currently plays for Manchester United and is the captain of England.
■ This documentary was released after Rooney beat the record for the most
international goals for England after beating Bobby Charlton’s previous record of 49
■ The documentary features references from the likes of Steven Gerrard, David
Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and, of course, his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
He seems to be well liked by all, and Ronaldo even raises the possibility of the two
playing together in future.
■ He speaks about a variety of subjects which includes his public bust up with Sir Alex
Ferguson and how he felt when he was picked for the 2006 FIFAWorld Cup; he also
opens up about his personal life and what he does in his spare time.
5. Class of ’92: Out ofTheir League
■ It is a documentary following the ex-Manchester United stars known as the Class of '92
as they buy a football club seven tiers down from the Premier League with a dream of
taking them up to the top.
■ It was created by the BBC and was aired in 2015.
■ It features the class of ‘92 which included seeing real footage from Salford City who is
the team they all co-own. It goes behind the scenes of the club and shows their
progress through the league; it shows what the class of 92’ are doing to help the club.
