I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you, I shall remove the heart of stone from your bodies and give you a heart of flesh instead. I will put my spirit in you and you shall be my people and I shall be your God ” Ezekiel 36: 22-28
  4. 4. Jesus said “ I came so that they may have life and have it in abundant” John 10:10 “ So whoever is in Christ is a new creation : the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come” 2 COR 5:17
  5. 5. <ul><li>He comes to know God by experience; </li></ul><ul><li>He can pray in a new way; </li></ul><ul><li>The Bible, the lithurgy, the sacraments comes to life; </li></ul><ul><li>The fruits of the Spirit develops within him (love, joy peace etc – Gal 5) </li></ul><ul><li>He can receive the gifts of the Spirit to serve God ( prophecy, healing, discernment of spirits, inspiration to speak – 1 Cor 12) </li></ul>When the Holy Spirit comes to someone, he becomes a changed man – Acts 2 or Acts 19:1-7

  10. 10. New Tongue And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2: 1-4

When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them: ‘ RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT’.” (John 20:22) REPENT, BELIEVE & BE BAPTIZED RECONCILE RENOUNCE RENEW RECEIVE REST IN THE SPIRIT <ul><li>THE HOLY SPIRIT </li></ul><ul><li>convicts us of the guilt of sin (Jn 16:8) </li></ul><ul><li>helps us in our weakness </li></ul><ul><li>intercedes for us with sighs </li></ul><ul><li>too deep for words </li></ul><ul><li>searches our hearts. (Rm8:26) </li></ul>

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing 1 Corinthians 13:2 &quot;If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.&quot; 1 Corinthians 13:1
