2. Commitment to Young Life
• In Lewis Center, Ohio, Cliff Kigar attends the Olentangy
High School and takes part in the town’s Young Life youth
group.
• Part of Cliff Kigar’s commitment to Young Life also involves
his affiliation with the Campaigners group, through which he
is able to study Bible verses and maintain a relationship with
other teenage followers of Christ.
3. Friends and Christian Leadership
• Perhaps one of the most important things for teenagers of
faith to keep in mind is the value of having a group of friends
and Christian leaders to help them deal with life’s tough
questions.
• The Campaigners group that Kigar belongs to allows him to
talk about God with like-minded teens and enforces the
meaning of what it is to be a Christian.
4. The Power of Prayer
• By creating a greater connection to a faith community or
church organization, teens have a support group they can turn
to in times of need that will give them the opportunity to open
up and share their struggles.
• Teens who are involved in Bible study and regular prayer,
something that can be achieved by involvement with a youth
group, can also learn more about their purpose in life and the
path God has set forth for them.
