individuals, especially those
with disabilities, through the
research and development
of innovative, technology-based
educational resources and
strategies









1. Equitable use: use by all people even with diverse
disabilities
2. Flexibility in use: accommodates a wide range of users
3. Simple and intuitive use: easy to understand by all users
4. Perceptible information: communicates important
information to user regardless of disabilities
5. Tolerance for error: minimal hazards
6. Low physical effort: minimal fatigue and comfortable for
users
7. Size and space for approach and use: appropriate
sizing's and spacing provided for use regardless of users
body size or mobility








All teachers must follow
cast and their set of
guidelines
Buildings are developed to
accommodate all students
(ex: ramps)
Technology is being
brought into the classroom
to help students learn
More hands on activities
and learning so students
enjoy school more
