3. Objective
Team: Neal DosSantos, Holly Hersey, Kathryn Horlbogen, Christina LaRosa, Steven Prestejohn, Ana Ziolek
Project Type: Retail, Housing, Hotel
After a through study of the existing Government Service Center designed by Paul Rudolph, both architecture and design students worked together
to redesign & develop the existing building as well as develop a new massing for the site. As a team we challenged the notion of taking a monumentally
scaled building and transforming it to a human scale through architectural & interior applications.

Project Name: Herman Miller Furniture
After exploring the structure of a suit, I’ve pulled elements like pockets, folds, creases, seams and texture, and translated those
into architectural features to create a sophisticated furniture design company.

20. Experience
Related Projects: Central High School, Enfield High School, Berlin High School
This Co-op taught me various design-related tasks including casework details, floor pattern plans, interior elevations, annotating drawings,
finish schedules & legends, 3-d modeling using sketchup, 3-d modeling using revit and much more! Note: I drew and/or modeled each casework
detail + interior elevation. I then added all annotations and dimensions as required to each sheet.

Project Name: Bachelor Pad
As I entered the luxury apartment in Boston, I noticed one very important aspect was missing...A view. Using Boston’s skyline at night as a concept, I’ve created a space
that enhances the entertainment and tech-savy aspect of the theoretical male client presented as well as incorporated the aspects of the luxurious view. When con-
structing this space, I focused on the voids between buildings, the sleek strips of light emitting from windows as well as the reflections present on the water. In addi-
tion, I incorporated the varying building heights and rectilinear forms.
31. Objective
Project Name: Wentworth Library
The conditions of Wentworth’s library influenced my decision to create a space that enhances those existing conditions while incorporating
details that emulate books. Each area in the space is placed in accordance to the ceiling grid and defined by the ceiling plane and flooring ma-
terial. In addition, each space enhances the character of a book’s placement and stacking.

Project Name: Nirvana Spa
The exploration of Body, Mind and Soul influenced my decisions to create a comfortable, less stressful and healthy environment. The use of

Project Name: Viaduct Des Arts
Paris’ night lighting, colors and intimacy is reflected in my restaurant design. Through the study of Paris’ night scene, I have created a space
that reflects the lighting and colors of Paris’ romantic night. The lighting of the arches fades from lightest to darkest resembling the lights
of the city fading into the dark sky.
