Aparri East National High School (AENHS) was established in 1998 as Lallo National High School-Maura Annex to address the growing population of high school learners in the area. It has since grown from its humble beginnings to become a larger school in its own right, holding its first commencement ceremony in 2002. AENHS students excel not only academically but also in extracurricular competitions both in the Philippines and abroad. The school attributes its success to the unity of its students, staff, and community in working towards continuous improvement and a clean learning environment. AENHS offers both junior and senior high school programs across various strands to help students explore their interests and talents.

2. History of AENHS
Since high school learners are eager to learn and
their population increase the LGU Aparri conceived,
planned, and made feasibility studies for the
establishment of a National High School. Because of
this, many people work in hand in the realization of
this goal. Because they lack human, physical as well
as financial resources, the school has yet to be
attached to a very stable and established school.
Since Lallo National High School was qualified to
become the mother school, Mr. Leandro C. Bacuyag
accepted it as its Annex. The second then, has to
bear the name Lallo National High School-Maura
Annex. Maura Annex began its operation in June 1998.
since then little by little the population increased.
March 2002 was indeed remarkable event for the
school held its first ever Commencement Exercises
And recognition program at the Aparri Public
Gymnasium with only 29 graduates who are pioneers
of Lallo National High Schol-Maura Annex. Besides
school improvement, Mr. Garcia never ceased to work
hand in hand with the principal, Mr. Leandro Bacuyag
and the local school board for the finalization of
documents for the school finally attached its dream
when it was finally separated from the mother school
with Mr. Garcia as the Principal. The Lallo National
High School- Maura Annex is unfolding another page of
history as it comes to the finalization of its dream.
From its humble beginning now arise a Giant in the
making. Lallo National High School-Maura Annex now
Aparri East National High School, Stands proud of its
history as it journey to the attainment of quality
education.

We AENHS’ians doesn’t only excel in academics, we
also excel in different extra curricular activities
inside or outside the country, a very good example
of this are ALJIN GOMEZ 5TH placer in 2018 ASEAN
School Games and IRISH MISADOR who always
compete in Palarong Pambansa. And this
