The social cognition that is found in the social behavior is schemas. Schemas are the basic
component of social thought and acquired through experience. It is mental frameworks
centering around a specific theme that help in organizing social information. In the picture
the student is listening to the lecture given by the lecturer. Because of past years of
experience in a classroom, the student builds and develop a mental structure about how a
classroom works. His brain organizes the information and knowledge and assumes that all
classrooms work the same way. Thus, he does not need to think twice about what to do when
he enters the classroom. Automatic procession also takes place in this social behavior. The
social information is non conscious and relatively effortless. The student automatically finds
a seat and listens to the lecture given without being told by anyone. He can do it without
putting any effort to think about the process.
