1. Playground
Design concept
The park is designed revolving
a theme “The Guardians”.
Which emphasises on the
safety of children playing in
this space .The playground
equipment are made out of
spheres and cylindrical
shapes , which are crafted to
make them look like human
guardians
Space Analysis
The playground is an open
space located at the park on
the ground floor. The space is
equipped with a large swing
,2 seesaw and a monkey bar.
The equipment there is made of
painted stainless steel , aluminium
and brass. These material are
threated well and does not
corrode easily . The space is not
exposed to strong sunlight
,therefore making it suitable to
play even in daylight.
The floor is covered with
synthetic grass. Under the grass is
soft paddings which reduces
injury when falling and makes it
more comfortable to walk on.
In the middle of the park
stands a sculpture ,which is
made to cover a radiator . The
sculpture is made out of brass
,steel and concrete
At the edge of the park sits a
small man-made hill with a
tree on it. The playground is
surrounded by granite paved
pathway.
