• Tata Motors Limited (formerly TELCO, short for Tata Engineering and Locomotive Company) is an Indian multinational
automotive manufacturing company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and a subsidiary of the Tata
Group. Its products include passenger cars, trucks, vans, coaches, buses, construction equipment and military
vehicles. It is the world's 17th-largest motor vehicle manufacturing company, fourth-largest truck manufacturer, and
second-largest bus manufacturer by volume.
• Founded in 1945 as a manufacturer of locomotives, the company manufactured its first commercial vehicle in 1954 in
a collaboration with Daimler-Benz AG, which ended in 1969. Tata Motors entered the passenger vehicle market in
1991 with the launch of the Tata Sierra, becoming the first Indian manufacturer to achieve the capability of
developing a competitive indigenous automobile. In 1998, Tata launched the first fully indigenous Indian passenger
car, the Indica, and in 2008 launched the Tata Nano, the world's cheapest car. Tata Motors acquired the South Korean
truck manufacturer Daewoo Commercial Vehicles Company in 2004 and purchased Jaguar Land Rover from Ford in
2008.
• Tata Technologies Limited (TTL) is an 86.91%-owned subsidiary of Tata Motors which provides design, engineering,
and business process outsourcing services to the automotive industry. It is headquartered in Pune (Hinjewadi) and
also has operations in Detroit, London, and Thailand. Its clients include Ford, General Motors, Honda, and Toyota.
 Technical Outlook
• After intermediate correction, stock has retested its previous low which can be considered as a double bottom and
also bullish reversal formation. It seems that it might touch its peak of formation which is placed at 430 level.
• Connecting all the pivot high and lows, we can draw horizontal trend line (marked by arrows) which is likely to act
as strong support level. After taking support of the trend line, stock spent two weeks in a consolidation phase; it
appears that all negative dust has settled down before beginning of fresh upside move.
• Gathering all important aspects on chart like accumulation of stock at lower level , strong upside move in price
along with rise in volume, says that stock has potential to give good upside move from present level. Also on daily
chart it had taken out its 21 days short term moving average which indicates short term trend has turned into
positive.
• A momentum oscillator RSI has formed positive divergence and breached its average line which point out that
momentum has increased in stock.
• Based on above technical evidences, we can expect that stock could further give upside move upto 430 level in few
trading session.
