2. INTRODUCTION
(THE MUSIC BEGINS)
The audience are introduced to the main protagonist
which is a girl in her late teens. As the introduction is quite
happy, I have her putting on makeup as it is the beginning
of the day. As the introduction is 24 seconds long, I am
going to have her from different angles in medium close
up shots (MCU).
3. VERSE 1&2
Everyone’s so high,
Losing their minds,
Looking for you,
Looking for you,
I don’t even know what I’m doing here,
Why wont you tell me?
Cause I’d rather be lonely?
For the first verse (red) there is an extreme close
up (XCU) of the main protagonist looking into
the camera and lip-synching the words to the
song. When we move into verse 2 (purple),
there is a medium shot (MS) of the character
throwing her makeup brush down grabbing her
bag and beginning to walk out of her room.
4. PRE-CHORUS
You are so happy,
Your heart is strange,
You wanna love me,
But honey, that ain’t okay,
You’re not so heavenly,
Not much a euphony,
But in the morning, it might just change
The female is walking towards the still
camera, lip-synching: ‘you wanna love
me, but honey, that ain’t okay’. Then
we cut to her walking down the stairs
5. CHORUS
Oh baby won’t you stop it,
You and I haven’t got it,
Television Romance,
Oh baby, won’t you stop it,
You and I haven’t got it, got it,
A Television Romance
We cut to her in the lounge singing (and lip-
synching) and dancing around to this quite
upbeat bit of the song.
6. RIFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SONG
The protagonist, puts down the hairbrush and opens
the door and walks into the kitchen. The shot for this
will be a medium long shot (MLS). While in the
kitchen, she will grab something to eat and drink.
7. VERSE 3/PRE CHORUS
Now I don’t even know what to say to you,
I feel like you’re getting into me,
And I know that’s what you’re into,
Your face isn’t enough (never enough),
To make me stay, stay, oh
In the kitchen while she is having a drink, she receives a
text from the boy in question. (CU of the phone and the
text). She replies to the text using the lyrics: ‘I feel like
you’re getting to me and I know that’s what you’re
into…it isn’t enough to make me stay’
8. CHORUS
Oh baby won’t you stop it,
You and I haven’t got it,
A Television Romance,
Oh baby won’t you stop it,
You and I haven’t got it, got it
A Television Romance
This time, she has had enough of the male and
she finished her drink, gets her bag and walks
out of the kitchen. We cut to her walking out of
her house and getting into her car.
9. VERSE 4/PRE CHORUS
And you can think that you can have me
tonight,
I think that my, think that my heart is alright,
I know, baby, think that I’ve got all the time,
But in a few hours,
I’ll be out of my mind
The car pulls up back at the house. She gets out
of the car and there is a CU of her and with a
direct mode of address she is lip synching this
verse. When she is finished, she walks away.
10. CHORUS
Oh baby won’t you stop it,
You and I haven’t got it,
A Television Romance,
Oh baby won’t you stop it,
You and I haven’t got it, got it
A Television Romance
The main protagonist is walking back
into the lounge and looking at her
phone again because she has
another text from him. This time, she
throws her phone onto the sofa and
runs upstairs. This is done in a MLS.
11. CHORUS

We are back in her bedroom, and she is
taking off her makeup and she is lip synching
the bits that are in brackets. At the end of the
song, she gets into bed, switches off the lamp
and goes to sleep. All of this is done in a long
shot
