Editor's Notes
Music. Passion. Dreamer describes the passion music professionals have for music and individuals pursuing and living out their goals and dreams. This is also my passion and how I aim to be an asset to the music industry.
I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia as well as the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia). Growing up music was always my passion, coming from a multi cultural family there were all types of music being played in the home. From African music, R&B, Pop, House Music to GoGo Music and others. I also sang in the church and high school gospel choir.
Above are just a few of my music influences: Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, J.Cole, Missy Elliot, and Jay Z.
My family keep me going and are a huge inspiration in my life. They keep me motivated and encourage me on pursuing my dreams.
My friends also inspire me and are very supportive. They are always there for me and also encourage me to move forward.
I joined the United States at the age of 19 to travel around the world. I got of the military in October of 2014 to focus on my dreams in the music industry.
In November of 2014, I moved to Orlando Florida and that month attended Full Sail University.
Artist management is one of the jobs I have a passion for. This particular career was also inspired by my family who always encouraged my sister and I each to go above and beyond while being a servant leader. Back home there’s a lot of talent and I wanted the talent within these artists to be more than just a dream. This brought me to Full Sail.
Nippy Fonaa is a hip hop artist from Richmond, Va. I am currently managing him.
My experience so far includes the Military (Army)
Dawgman Entertainment: Best of Florida Awards, Dawgman Birthday Bash Concert
The Best In Florida Awards I participated and assisted with in January of this year.
The Birthday Bash Event I am currently promoting that is coming up next month.
Interning for Events By Will: Jazz & Women Empowerment Event and Jazz Seafood Crawfish Event
I intern for Events By Will, Will is a celebrity event planner & Marketing Consultant. In March I interned for the Conversations & Jazz event.
Next month I will also be interning for the Crawfish Seafood & Jazz Festival.
These are just a few of many attributes/skills that I have when working in a professional environment.
Below are just a few of many projects that created in school. I created an Artist Management company brochure, Powerpoint projects, and a One Sheet for hip hop artist Chaz French.
Success to me is being happy, accomplishing my goals in life and staying financially stabled in my dream job for years to come.
