This document discusses the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship. It begins by quoting President Obama emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship in creating economic opportunity. It then notes that while innovation and entrepreneurship are widely seen as important for business growth, there is no consensus on precisely defining the concepts or understanding their relationship. Researchers also debate the impact of entrepreneurship and innovation and what promotes them. However, as more professionals study and discuss this relationship, valuable insights are gained about how it benefits both business and society, as well as individuals making business decisions.

Individual Project Part 3: Project Evaluation, Lessons Learned, and Synthesis of Insights Gained
Though project managers often gain a great deal of experiential knowledge through the project management process, project evaluation offers them a chance to formalize the lessons they have learned. Part 3 of the Individual Project focuses on issues related to evaluating the success of a project and the debriefing process for capturing lessons learned. If conducting an interview, your interviewee must be able to speak to these topics. Alternatively, you may examine a minimum of three organizations that have published descriptions about the evaluation and debriefing process of a health care information technology project.
Interview
To prepare:
Review the Individual Project Overview document linked in this week’s Learning Resources for additional information on this project. Pay particular attention to the questions you should ask in your interview.
Locate a professional who manages or works on special projects in health care and is willing to speak about his or her experience.
If such a person is not readily available to you, find someone in your community who has managed a project for an organization. The organization can be a volunteer service group, a faith-based group, a business, or another that meets your needs. The goal is to find an individual who has been in charge of a project important to the organization.
Review the topics and questions below that should be addressed in your interview.
Think about other related questions you might have for your interviewee and solidify your goals for speaking to and learning from this person.
Topics and Questions:
As in the other interviews, you will need to adapt your questions to the individual,
setting, and projects. You are not required to ask these
specific
questions, but you are
required to address the topics listed below (Note: If the interviewee cannot address a
topic, conduct a literature search to find scholarly information or research on that topic).
Evaluation
·
What tools or strategies do you use to evaluate the success of a project?
·
Can you give an example of a project that failed (or was not successful)?
Lessons Learned
·
Describe the project outcomes
o
What were some successful outcomes of the project? Were the project
goals met?
o
How do you conduct a debriefing of the project with the project team?
o
What happens to the information gained from the debriefing?
o
How do the project team and the organization support project debriefing?
·
Companies have historically looked at technical skills, but more and more
business managers are realizing that the absence of good "people" skills tends to
cripple projects. What are three critically important things a project manager (or
project team member) must do well to help a project succeed?
Please add questions of your own, including asking for advice for the future from your
interviewee.

PAD 502: Organizational Dynamics
Final Project – Learning Assessment of a Real-World Organization
The purpose of this assignment is to create an opportunity for students to apply the ideas and concepts
discussed in the class and the readings in the analysis of a real-world organization. Your choice of an
organization will be an important one, and may be drawn from your own experience or be an organization
were information is readily available.
Be sure to maintain a professional stance in relation to matters that are sensitive and confidential. When
necessary, you should disguise the source of your project (unless the case is drawn from public records)
through use of appropriate pseudonyms. Confidentiality and the general conduct of the project are entirely
your responsibility, so proceed with caution and ethical care.
In essence, the case study invites you to do the following:
1) Identify an organization to be assessed based on the principles of organizational learning (overall
course theme).
2) Consider the three organizational perspectives and the associated materials as lenses for such an
assessment.
3) Engage in research activity that allows you to test the relevance of the different ideas through the
accumulation of relevant information and data.
Formal Requirements
1. Part 1 – Organizational Overview (25 Points)
(Due 10/16 at 11:59 PM)
The aim of part 1 is to get you started on the project and to get you into a frame of mind that is
analytical, takes the ideas discussed in the class and applies them to the organization being studied.
This report should be no more than 6 double-spaced typewritten pages (APA format) and include the
following:
A brief account of the organization being investigated, providing sufficient information for the reader
to understand the nature of the organization and its context. This section should include relevant
background information as well as a clear statement of the focus of your case study. For example, it is
appropriate to provide information on the age, size, and history of the organization, the product or
services it provides, and the general nature of its environment.
The account should also offer a clear, concise argument as to the value of assessing this organization
based on the principles of organizational learning. This is a critical dimension of your paper and cannot
be overemphasized. Recall that our objective in this course is always to demonstrate the relevance of
sound theory to real-world organizations. Part 1, then, should be demonstrate the potential value of
organizational learning principles specifically for your chosen organization and more broadly for good
government.
Make sure that the report is written in a professional manner. It will be judged according to the quality
of analysis and presentation, in accordance with the criteria listed later in the grading rubric.

Problem Statement

Problem Statement
While there are several different variables which may be barriers to academic excellence and achievement, there are two factors that might account for the required academic improvement and achievement in elementary schools. These factors include lack of motivation as well as presence of learning disabilities. Therefore, it is important to identify those factors that lead to learning difficulties. For instance, teachers who are not aware of various characteristics of such areas of concern might become ineffective in their work more so when dealing with students with learning disabilities. Thus, in an effort to better help learners with learning disabilities, it is important for the teachers and other stakeholders to be aware of the several differences between those learners who do not attain their academic goals due to lower motivation as well as those who struggle with frustrations resulting from their learning disabilities.
Moreover, many learners are in need of motivation in order to achieve their academic goals. Thus, there is need to emphasize on the importance of motivation for learners’ success in education. This is because lack of motivation is usually very detrimental for their academic achievement thus resulting to learners paying less attention to details and activities, lower grades and presenting negative attitudes and behavior towards learning. Motivation therefore is an important aspect for learners to experience so as to overcome academic challenges as well as develop positive attitudes and mindsets about learning and education in general.
The most significant function of education is to encourage interest in learning among students with learning disabilities. This is supposed to be done in a way that brings about the desired benefits and impacts to them as well as the society. This will ensure they are effectively integrated into the society and will enable them to obtain academic achievement. Thus, it is important to acknowledge that motivation is important for all learners’ academic achievements. However, as much as motivation plays a significant role in academic achievement for all learners, learners with learning disabilities are usually more vulnerable to lack of motivation throughout their life in school and education in general. Hence, lack of motivation as well as attention problems are likely to affect their learning efforts. They often face massive barriers in their academic achievement as well as adult outcomes compared to their peer without learning disabilities. Thus, it is necessary that importance of motivation is stressed so as to help learners with disabilities to overcome these challenges.
Additionally, academic excellence often derived from a growth mindset as well as motivation. For instance a growth mindset refers to an individual believing in him/herself that intelligence improves with application of learnin.
Action research is a philosophy and methodology of research generally applied in the social sciences. It seeks trasformative change through the simultaneous process of taking action and doing research which are linked together by critical reflection
Unit 4 LectureDeveloping a ProposalUnit 4 focuses on developi.docxmarilucorr
Unit 4: Lecture
Developing a Proposal
Unit 4 focuses on developing your topic for your final report and conducting some preliminary research for your final project. Your reading for this unit (Chs. 15, 17 and Appendix C ) cover how to research and write proposals, as well as how to cite your work in a business report. Make sure to review these chapters carefully as you prepare your discussion and assignment for this unit.
What are Proposals?
A proposal is a persuasive genre in which a writer convinces an audience to accept or approve some course of action. As your book says, “proposals argue for work that needs to be done” (552).
In business contexts, a proposal might outline a new policy and request implementation or request money to fund a special project. For our purposes, your proposal will focus on seeking approval for your topic for your final business report.
According to Ch. 17, good business proposals answer the following questions:
· What problem are you going to solve or what opportunity do you hope to fill?
· Why does the problem need to be solved now or the opportunity explored immediately?
· How are you going to solve it?
· Can you do the work?
· Why should you be the one to do it?
· When will you complete the work?
· How much will you charge?
· What exactly will you provide for us?
For our purpose in this class, we are not going to worry about the questions about timelines, qualifications, or fees, as our timeline is already set, everyone has to do the report, and you will be writing your report for experience and learning, rather than money. However, be mindful that in a real world situation, all of these questions may be important to address.
Defining a Problem to Explore in your Proposal and Report:
According to Ch. 15, a good problem to explore for a business report should use the following guidelines:
· The problem is real, significant enough to be worth solving, and narrow but challenging
· The audience is also real and has the power to make decisions based on your report
· The evidence (e.g. data, facts, sources) is sufficient to show the importance of the problem and to prove that your recommendations will solve the problem.
When writing your proposal, use the advice in Chapter 15 about writing a purpose statement and review the example on pg. 492.
How to Conduct Research:
There is a wide range of research available to you that could be used to develop your report.
For example, you may find any or all of these types useful in a business report:
· Newspaper articles (For example, The Washington Post)
· Articles in popular magazines or non-fiction books (for example, Newsweek)
· Articles in industry-specific publications (for example, HR Magazine)
· Websites and publications of professional organizations (for example, The National Association of Business Management Professionals)
· Journal articles and books written by academics (for example, Business Communication Quarterly)
· Surveys or interviews you have cond ...

Module 1 - SLP
Managing Individual Behavior
The SLP for this course involves making a personal assessment of a relevant set of skills, focusing on your strengths and identifying any weaknesses that may have been revealed. You will then be asked to create a plan by which you can "grow" your strengths and shore up your weaknesses. By the end of the project, you will have a personal management profile and action plan.
As we have discussed, your values and attitudes interact with your personality to create a strong effect on your work life. The fit between an individual's personality and a company's "style" is essential to job satisfaction. Someone who is risk-averse, for example, would probably be unhappy at 3M, a company with a reputation for innovation and risk-taking. Understanding the impact of your own personality on others helps you build productive work relationships with peers, subordinates, and bosses, alike.
Refer to the required and optional readings for this module, and any other readings which will help you in understanding personality styles and how they affect organizational effectiveness. Remember to follow Trident’s guidelines for masters-level writing. (See
The Student Guide to Writing a High-Quality Academic Paper

personality test. After you complete the test, you will want to read the description, but in order to fully understand what this test measures, you should also review “Personality Type explained”. Then review the pages on career choices, learning style and communication skills. Incorporate this information in formulating your responses to the questions below.
You will need to include the actual results in an appendix at the end of your paper. (Note: This appendix requirement will likely increase your paper’s Turnitin similarity score; your professor is aware of this.)
Prepare a 2- page essay that addresses the following:
How does my personality type affect my career and effectiveness at my job?
Refer to the required and optional readings for this module, and any other materials which will help you in understanding personality styles and how they affect organizational effectiveness. Bring in
at least
two sources from your module to add depth to your discussion (citing the materials and including them in your Reference section). Remember to follow Trident’s guidelines for masters-level writing. (See

·
Complete the assessment according to the guidelines and include the actual results in an Appendix at the end of your paper.
·
Be sure to clearly discuss the following in your essay:

What did the test reveal about you?
o
What can you infer from this test about your strengths and weaknesses?
o

The job of the Supreme Court is to apply the Constitution, not to make public policy. That means that if they're doing their job, the specific outcomes of the decision shouldn't be a factor in their decision. That's why, sometimes, bad guys go free because the police violated a rule that protects all of us in we're accused of wrongdoing. Free speech can also be troublesome. It sounds a lot better in theory than it sometimes turns out in practice.

(See
The Student Guide to Writing a High-Quality Academic Paper
.)

personality test.
(See
The Student Guide to Writing a High-Quality Academic Paper

·
Complete the assessment according to the guidelines and include the actual results in an Appendix at the end of your paper.
·
Be sure to clearly discuss the following in your essay:
o
What did the test reveal about you?
o
What can you infer from this test about your strengths and weaknesses?
o
How does what you have learned from your module background materials about your personality type affect your motivation? Is this limited to a specific type of s ...

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

The Innovation-Entrepreneurship RelationshipNow, I know some h.docx
1. The Innovation-Entrepreneurship Relationship
Now, I know some have asked—given all the security and
political and social challenges we face, why a summit on
entrepreneurship? The answer is simple. Entrepreneurship—
because throughout history, the market has been the most
powerful force the world has ever known for creating
opportunity and lifting people up out of poverty.
—President Barack Obama, “Remarks to the Presidential
Summit on Entrepreneurship”
Both innovation and entrepreneurship are widely touted as
essential components of business and economic growth, as
reflected in the quote above. Discussion of the topics is almost
unavoidable in business and government circles. Because
growth in entrepreneurship and increased innovation are goals
that are often pursued simultaneously, a better understanding of
the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship has
widespread practical implications for business. However,
professionals and researchers from every facet of business
continue to disagree on the precise definitions of both concepts,
much less the relationship between them. Researchers also
debate the overall impact of entrepreneurship and innovation
and the factors that promote them.
Nonetheless, as more professionals engage in this debate, the
academic and professional business communities gain valuable
insight into this important relationship. These insights have
implications not only for business and society as a whole but
also for individual business professionals who make decisions
on an everyday basis.

taking and the way your personal strengths reflect the
relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship.
Annotated Bibliography on Innovation
Scholarly research and writing are key components of the DBA
program of study, but this challenge of doctoral research may
seem daunting even to those with years of experience in
business. However, doctoral candidates can help ensure their
success by thinking of doctoral research and writing as an
orderly process designed to facilitate quality. Completing an
annotated bibliography is one of the early steps in the doctoral
process that allows candidates to organize and evaluate
resources for later use and allows the candidate to reflect
critically on the merits and relevance of each resource to their
topic of study.
Constructing an annotated bibliography is an effective tool that
can aid you later in the research process and, like every other
facet of academic writing, can best be achieved through ample
practice.
To prepare: Find four peer- or jury-reviewed articles on an
innovation related to your specialization. Evaluate each article
for the following:
· Reliability of evaluation of research methods and of the
theories and data on which the article is based
· Appropriateness for intended audience
· Authority or background of the author
· Limitations, depending on the scope, reliability, age of the
3. document, and bias
· Usefulness of the source for your purposes
The annotation does not have to be long (2–3 paragraphs), but
you should take into consideration the points listed above.
Use the APA Course Paper Template to complete this
assignment. The link to the template can be found in this
module's Learning Resources
By Day 3 of Week 5, submit a draft of your Annotated
Bibliography (2–4 pages total) for review. In addition, post a
copy of your Annotated Bibliography to the Module 3
Discussion 2 thread for peer review.
Include the following for each article in the Annotated
Bibliography:
· Full bibliographic reference (respecting APA rules about
referencing)
· Summary of document, including the main points, its purpose,
the theoretical perspective on which it is based, and the scope
· Evaluation of the source, critiquing the source briefly
