One of the major challenges that many people face when trying to change their eating habits, is getting the family on board.
And it's not always about trying to get them on board; especially if you and your family have been accustomed to eating less-than-optimally and NOW, all of a sudden, you want to change that.
Check out this presentation to find out what you should do instead!
Enjoy!

How to Go About Eating a Healthy Diet When Your Family Isn't
1.
2. One of the major challenges that
many people face when trying to
change their eating habits, is getting
the family on board.
3. And it's not always about trying to
get them on board; especially if
you and your family have been
accustomed to eating less-than-
optimally and NOW, all of a
sudden, you want to change that?
4. Yeah okay... your family's
gonna be lookin' at you
like...
"Please... you better get
outta here with that."
5. And in cases like that, I
personally don't feel it's fair to
FORCE change on them.
6. Sure, you can begin to incorporate
healthy choices when you prepare
meals for your family, but
sometimes regaining your health is
a very personal choice.
7. But I understand how challenging it
can be, when there are other
people in your household; so I am
going to share a few tips with you,
HOWEVER…
8. I elaborate on each one MUCH
more in my actual blog article, so
click here to check that out!
9. So on that note...
Here Are Some Tips On
Dieting & Eating Healthy
When Your Family Isn't:
10. 1. ASK For Support…
(“Please don’t eat that in front of me right now.
Wait until I’m stronger, thanks”)
11. 2. Focus On What You
Want & Why…
(How do you want to look? How do you want to feel?
Why are you doing this? Be SPECIFIC!)
12. 3. Avoid Deprivation By
Getting Creative
(Stop believing that healthy has to equate to boring!
Find some recipes, recreate your favorite dishes &
make your food tasteYUMMY!)
13. 4. Eat What You Love
(Make a list of all the healthy foods you LOVE
and keep them on hand at all times)
14. 5. Prepare Your Food & Eat First
(Sound selfish? It IS! But when you’re trying to reach
your goals and your family is eating foods that WON’T
get you there... You have a right!)
15. 6. Plan Ahead
(Meal planning and prep is going to be the difference
between being prepared to succeed, or being prepared
to slip & fail)
16. I know that was pretty brief and
not much detail, but again, I dive
a little deeper on my actual blog,
and even in my video – which
you can check out by clicking
here.
17. The important thing to remember
is that, people will often do what
you DO and not so much what
you say, so…
18. … set the bar, be the example,
and watch as your family
members slowly, but surely,
begin to follow suit in making
small strides to healthier eating!
19. Hopefully you found these tips
helpful and will take them to heart
so that you're more successful at
either dieting or eating healthy,
when your family isn't!
