the leading pharmaceutical companies in the world. At a growth rate of 9 per cent per
year, the pharmaceutical industry in India is well set for rapid expansion.The
progressive nature of this industry in India is attracting huge investments from
international players as well.
The healthcare market has opened a window of opportunities in the country. There is
a huge demand- supply gap in the healthcare delivery business in India. Health Care
Management develops the managerial and business skills that a student must possess

· A report by All India Management Association, Boston Consulting Group and the
Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) stated that Healthcare industry is expected to
generate over 40 million new jobs by 2020
· The healthcare industry in India is expected to reach $155 billion in terms of
revenues by 2017
