3. INTRODUCTION
Teaching activities to bring out desired
behavioral changes in the students. Every nation
and society hands over the culture and values of
the new generation by Teaching activities. For
society establishes social institutions, in which
teaching activities are performed.
4. PLANNING CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
The activity which the teacher performs before the actual lesson
takes place.
The term “classroom activities ” applies to a wide range of skill-
based games, strategies and interactive activities that support
students educational development.
Providing learning activities in the class or even outside of it is
known as teaching. Listening to teachers, listening to
students,speaking, thinking, observing, recalling, drawing figures,
locating places on a map etc.,

6. HOW DO YOU PLAN A CLASSROOM ACTIVITY ?
Listed below are 6 steps for preparing your lesson plan before
your class.
▪Identify the learning objectives
▪Plan the specific learning activities
▪Plan to assess student uderstanding
▪Plan to sequence the lesson in an engaging and meaningful
manner
▪Create a realistic timeline
▪Plan for a lesson closure
7. EXAMPLES OF CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
Included art club, debate club,student council, school magazine, painting
competition, story- telling, student newspaper, oration etc.,
For examples in physics
Activity - 01
You need a glass tumbler and a cardboard piece from an old invitation or
greeting cord and a coin to perform this simple experiment. Place the
cardboard on the glass tumbler as a figure in below. Place a coin on the
cardboard. Flip the cardboard with your fingers.
8. FOR EXAMPLE IN MATHEMATICS
Activity - 01
Take three sheets of papers; one in the shape of a square, another
rectangular and a third one In the shape of a parallelogram (for this
you many have to draw a parallelogram on a sheet of paper and cut
it along the boundary). Draw diagonals as shown in this figure. Cut
the sheets along the diagonals.
9. You will get two Triangle from each sheets. Now you place
one of the triangular sheet obtained from each figure on the
other triangular sheet of the same figure such that it exactly
covers the other triangular sheets.
10. IMPORTANCE OF CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
The school activities have to be designed purposefully to give an aptitude mix
of students participation in academic and also to create a chance for all – round
development. To understand the importance of classroom activities, let us see
how these activities benefit students :-
▪ Enhances overall personality
▪ Strengthen self- confidence
▪ Develop specialized skills
▪ Improve academic performance
▪ Exposure to new activities
▪ It helps to develop relationship skills and in many cases lasting relationship.
▪ Classroom activities develop the self- esteem of the students.Who do not excel
academically.
11. CONCLUSION
The term learning activities may be explained as activities which
include an arrangement of teaching aids, questioning explanation,
observation, drawing figures speaking etc.,
The activities of the students reach the goal of teaching students to
be responsible and give them opportunities that develop characters,
critical thinking, problems - solving, team building, and leadership
skills.
