9. Miss C. Preston Chesterfield Miss Catherine Elaine Preston of Chesterfield has fallen asleep. Born in Chesterfield, she was a life long resident, although she could not wait to leave the place to live by the coast of Scotland. A wannabe artist she spent her time daydreaming and enjoying life. She constantly smiled, unless bored, she was a happy go lucky individual. A scatty blonde whose interests were multidisciplinary art, Mr Wolfe, Spirituality and never having to get a 9 – 5 job. Oh and a bottle of blonde hair dye, she lived a happy life. Cat looks forward to seeing you in the next life.
10. Aims To produce a mixed range of multidisciplinary art pieces that informs and questions the audience’s own personal thoughts on life, death and life after death. To build on the practical skills I have gained during the BA and develop my own personal style. To develop a greater awareness of art textiles and research relevant artists working within this field.

Learning Goals To produce a range of visual art forms that have audience interaction, mentally, physically or emotionally, creating a contemplation of death, and a questioning of how the afterlife exists. To gain a clear understanding on significant theories on the area of death and the afterlife. To create a performance by video documentation, relating to the context of death. To gain principle knowledge in the undertaking of professional project proposals relating to producing commissioned artwork. To write and submit the project proposal to either an arts institution for funding or exhibition.
