To receive credit for a technology workshop, teachers must complete a follow-up assignment by October 14th. The assignment requires teachers to select a Gizmo simulation, teach a lesson using it with their students, and write a reflection on the experience. In their reflection, teachers must name the Gizmo used, identify the addressed state standards, describe how they taught the lesson, and explain the impact on student learning from their perspective as the teacher.

2. FOLLOW-UP ASSIGNMENT In order to be eligible to receive a grade of “Satisfactory” and obtain Master Plan Point (MPP) for this workshop, it is required that a follow-up assignment be completed. Select, prepare, and use a Gizmo simulation lesson with students. Write a reflection Name the Gizmo used and the Florida Sunshine State Standard(s) addressed, Describe how you used the Gizmo with your students, Explain how well the lesson went from a teacher point of view, Explain how the lesson impacted student learning.
