of your project

10. Add a description (optional)

11. Enter email address of people
on the team

“Decide who can create projects”

13. Select permission of each
team member

“Include a welcome…”

15. That is the welcome message,
edit it if you like

16. Click “The Client”

17. Click
“Yes, turn client access to this project”

18. Type email address of client

19. Click the box to include
welcome message

20. Click “Start the project”

21. Click “Start the project”

22. Click “Discussion”

23. Type subject of message

24. Formatting text is also displayed

25. Type your message

26. Click “Select files from your computer”
to attach files

27. Click file to attach

28. Click “Open”

29. The file is now attached

30. Select posting options

31. Click “Post this message”

32. Basecamp will post your
discussion like this

33. Other actions about this
discussion are displayed

34. Type additional message
about the discussion

35. Click “Projects”

36. Projects will be
displayed like this

37. Select project view format
of your choice

38. Circles represent team members
involved in the project

39. Click the project

40. This is your project in Basecamp

41. Click “To-do-list”

42. Type title of to-do list

43. Hit “Enter”

44. Click the box to
limit client access

45. Click
“Save and start adding to-dos”

46. Click
“I’m done adding to-dos”

47. The client can not
access this to-do list

48. Click “Text document”

49. Type a new title

50. Type text or note

51. Click “Save this document”
when done

52. Click “Edit this document”
to edit

53. Click “Calendar” to see
activities on each day

54. Calendar day has content

55. Click the content of that day

56. A dialogue box will appear

57. Replace that note into
“1st Day”

58. Click drop-down button

59. Click “How to Use Basecamp”

60. Type email address of
another member

61. Click “Add this event”

62. Click “Everything”

63. This is your “Everything”

64. Click “Browse every discussion”

65. Project for discussion
is displayed

66. Click the topic

67. Type new message

68. Click the project

70. Click again “Everything”

71. Click “Review all open to-dos”

72. Click “Add to-do” to add

73. Click again “Everything”

74. Click “See every single file”

75. It will display the file attachment

76. Click the file

77. Click “Download this file”
to download and view

78. Click “OK”

79. Click “Discuss this file”
and discussion page will open

80. Click “Delete this file” to delete

81. Click “Everything”

82. Click “Read all text documents”

83. Text documents will be displayed

84. Click “Progress”

project will be displayed

“Grant admin and other
superpowers”

89. Select choices by
clicking the boxes

94. Scroll down

95. Click “Project Settings”

96. Click “Delete this project” if you wish

97. Click “OK” to continue deleting

98. Or click “Archived” to archive it

99. Click “Save changes”

100. Click “Projects”

101. Only 1 active project will appear
