2. The DO’s:
• Stick to two clear fonts as a MAXIMUM. Make sure they
go well together and are synchronised with the rest of
the ancillary work. Also look out for the sizes used.
• Stick to the maximum of about 3 colours. They should go
well together and fit the genre well.
• Make sure that the photos that you are using are clear.
They should be in focus and make sure that they are
appropriate shot size of your pane.
• Follow the rule of thirds for composition.
• You have to include a bar code, date, copyright
information, title of the album, artist’s name, record
company’s logo, website and artist website.
3. The DON’T’s:
• DO NOT use unnecessary effects. The image and
text must suit the genre so do not exaggerate.
• Stretching images cannot be done. If the image is
not the right size to start with then do not use it!
Stretched images lose marks.
• Place any text across the artist’s face.
• Use fonts just because you like them, they may
not suit the genre of the song and artist.
• You do not need to have photos on every panel.
Too many photos may not look very good.
