INDIAN FACE
INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK recorded their single-largest fall since August 1 after weaker-than-expected business activity in the euro zone and a survey which showed rise in unemployment levels in China raised concerns that global economic growth is still struggling.
Further, Shares of India Cements ended lower by 7% after company propose to demerge the said CSK Division to a wholly- owned subsidiary of the Company.
DLF slips over 6.51%, after BNP Paribas downgrades the stock to 'Reduce' from 'Hold'.
GLOBAL FACE
Asian stock markets fell as investors throughout the region were cautious ahead of Chinese manufacturing data later in the day.
European stocks were lower, despite the release of positive Chinese manufacturing data as a disappointing report from Germany weighed.
U.S. stocks market fell after existing U.S. home sales numbers disappointed investors, while a selloff in small-cap stocks sent broader indices falling as well.

Arvind allots equity shares
Arvind has announced that the Management Committee of Board of Directors, at its meeting held on September 23, 2014, has allotted 33,340 Equity Shares of Rs10 each pursuant to exercise of stock options by eligible employee under the Employee Stock Option Scheme 2008 of the Company.
Coal India signs 161 FSAs for a capacity of 73,675 MW
Coal India has entered into fuel supply pacts with 161 power units for a capacity of 73,675 MW. As many as 172 FSAs are to be signed in this regard worth 78000 MW. The company was earlier planning to import 6mt, but a sharp jump in local prices due to recent closures of mines has forced it to consider more shipments. Global spot iron ore prices have fallen 40% this year to their lowest levels since 2009 as global miners flood the market with low-cost supply.
OFSS allots equity shares
Oracle Financial Services Software announced that the ESOP Allotment Committee at its meeting held on September 23, 2014 allotted 192,316 equity shares of face value of Rs5 each to the eligible Employees & Director of the Company who have exercised their stock options under the Employee Stock Option Scheme 2002, Employee Stock Option Scheme 2010 and Employee Stock Option Scheme 2011.
JSW Steel to import 10 mn tonne of iron ore due to local shortage
Shares of Colgate Palmolive Ltd ended 2% up after the company has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 22, 2014, has declared a first interim dividend of Rs. 8 per equity share of Re. 1 face value for FY 2014- 15.
