INDIAN FACE
INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK came off their fresh record highs to end marginally lower weighed down by profit taking in IT majors and mortgage lender HDFC. In the broader market, both BSE midcap and small cap indices outperformed their larger peers and closed with gains of 0.2-0.9% each. Market breadth ended positive in BSE with 1,742 advances against 1,368 declines
Further, Good Luck Steel Tubes surged 10.18%, after the company's board approved issue of warrants on preferential basis to person belonging to non-promoter and promoter category.
Punj Lloyd jumped 4.97%, after the company said it has secured Rs666 crore Asian highway contract from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.

Asian shares closed up more than 2% rebounding from yesterday’s sharp decline on hopes of a snap election and fresh monetary stimulus measures and delay in a sales tax
European shares rose and bond yields fell on hopes that a possible snap election in Japan might lead to more economic stimulus measures and that Germany's ZEW survey would be upbeat.

Ranbaxy Lab sues US FDA for revoking drug approvals
Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd has sued US FDA for revoking approvals granted to the firm to launch copies of two drugs including AstraZeneca Plc's heartburn pill Nexium, according to reports.Last month, FDA told Ranbaxy that it believed its decisions to grant the company tentative approvals for copies of Nexium and Roche AG's antiviral Valcyte were "in error.
SBI extends rally, at 52-week high
The bank reported 30.5 per cent jump in Q2FY15 net profit at Rs 3,100 crore when compared with Rs 2,375 crore in Q2FY14. Total income rose by 12.5 per cent to Rs 41,833 crore from Rs 37,200 crore in the same period.The stock this morning spurted to a fresh 52-week high of Rs 2,978, and is now up 0.7 per cent at Rs 2,962. The counter has seen trades of around 272,000 shares.
