why?
๎€‘ Set A: 2x โ€“ 7y = 10 5x + 7y =19
๎€ƒ Best Method : Elimination
๎€ƒ Why? Both equations are in the same form
(Standard) and the y-term can be
eliminated without multiplying.
๎€‘ Set B: y= 6x -13 y =-1/3x +4
๎€ƒ Best Method: Graphing
๎€ƒ Why? Both equations are in slope intercept
form. To graph an equation, it must be in
slope intercept form.
๎€‘ Set C: x = -10y + 2 4x โ€“ 6y = 8
๎€ƒ Best Method: Substitution
๎€ƒ Why? The variable 'x' is by itself. It is easy
to substitution '-10y+2' in for the 'x' of the
second equation.
