Key point being by 2030 (by the time the gentleman in the picture would get to lead an organization) the average age of Indians would rise up to 26…Ambuj is a current student at MICA…it is sheer luck that the walls did not come down with the laughter this slide elicited
The key point being that in no time there would not be any digital marketers but all marketers would have to be proficient in digital marketing as all consumers would be on smart devices and their consumption habits would be very different from what happens now…in the twilight era of old world media

The key point – most brands talk to the consumer to in the pre purchase period…rarely post purchase…while the consumer believes her peer recommendation the most…and peers recommend when they have used the product/brand extensively…the ROI achieved from a satisfied consumer
The key point – online social is not a place to do marcom…become a friend…build friendship…not ‘relationship’…
