solution for many problems in high moisture and chemical content
environment in many Hong Kong Government and private projects.
Strongwell Duragrid T-1800 1.5” is thus utilized as oil water
interceptor cover in Tuen Mun Oil Depot to replace the traditional
material like stainless steel and galvanized mild steel for Hong
Kong International Airport Authority.
Corrosion resistant fiberglass will outlast aluminum or steel
grating with virtually no maintenance, even when submerged
under water. Therefore, Strongwell fiberglass grating is very
durable and resistant to salting water, salt atmosphere and highly
corrosive chemical thus provides a virtual maintenance free in
virtue of harsh outdoor environments. Besides, weight saving of
Strongwell T-1800 1.5” helps to advance the maintenance process
for cleaning of cover and underneath oil water interceptor
effectively. Consequently, Strongwell fiberglass grating is
specified to replace the steel in this application.
