UNREAL CONDITIONAL
SENTENCES WITH IF CLAUSES
We use this conditional sentences to talk about imaginary situations and their
possible consequence.
Example:
IMAGINARY SITUATION RESULT
If I visited Buenos Aires, I would go to a tango show.

Examples:
1. If I were 20, I would travel the world.
I would travel the world If I were 20.
1. If I won the lottery, I would buy a big house.

1. If I had his number, I might call him.
2. If she were rich, she could travel all over the world.
3. Would you go to the party if they invited you?
4. What would you do if you won the lottery?
5. If I were you, I wouldn’t do that.

Complete the sentences, use the correct form of the verbs in parentheses.
