OBJECTIVES
My objective is to find a career, not a J-O-B!!! Somewhere that is possible to move up and be long term. I want to
create a working environment that is not only beneficial to me, but everyone around me.
EDUCATION
Newcastle adult education center
May,2010 GED
I am a self-made self-taught individual. my mother instilled in me what work ethic was at a young age. My mother
was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was 14 so I dropped out of high school at 17 to help take care of her
and my younger siblings. Watching her get ill seeing her determination day in an out to fight her disease gave me
the courage to be the person I am today. With that said I have had a job since I was 15. I learned the ins and outs
of business management, I caught on quickly! I pride myself on the person I am today. I have had several
obstacles’ whether it worked related or personal come my way, but I never let it deter me I got right back in the
ring and took another swing!!
EXPERIENCE
J&L Transportation Indianapolis, Indiana
May 2004 – June 2011
I managed a team of about 40+ employees, from drivers to office personnel. I achieved great success with this
company and absolutely loved it. I did all hiring and firing, Accounts payable/receivable, made sure company and
drivers were meeting all DOT and OSHA regulations, I maintained log books and so much more! Worked long hours,
sometimes just to make sure the job was done and done right. This was a fast paced work environment in which I
excelled at, and would still be working for them today if tragedy had not struck the company making J & L close the
doors.
Knauf Insulation Shelbyville, Indiana
August 2011-March 2016
Well Knauf was definitely a culture shock, but when I set my mind to something nothing can stop me!!! I went from
wearing heels to using blow torches!! Let’s just say it, I am pretty awesome!! I basically ran a machine that put the
backing on the product(insulation). I was the first and last eyes on the product. Quality control was very important
because not only could we (the company) be fined, but potentially loose a customer! So quality and process associates
worked side by side. My job consisted of running the print which had the R value on the product too glue and last but
not least facing alignment. I am very excited to say that I was never written up for my job performance. I took my job

very seriously and made sure it was done right. I also had to make sure all inventory was accounted for and that we
have enough product on hand to run the upcoming orders! You had to have excellent time management skills for this
job, because a run that runs 216 fpm (feet per min) and rolls that only have 11,500 ft. on the roll, you could run of
facing before your next splice and corporate asking why we wasted 3000 pounds of glass due to a facing splice!! The
job was tuff and hot but I actually enjoyed it! Knauf taught me things about myself and had me doing things I did not
think where possible!
