4. It looked better from the outside than it did on
the inside!
The main roof was supported by very visible
steel trusses with the bottom span being only
some 4 meters - 12 feet - from the ground.
5. Prior to the redevelopment work, two meetings
were held in the area that is now the auditorium.
It was a very different place!

The contractor was selected in August 2011 and the fully termed
contract was awarded 5th September 2011
8. And a time to build up…
November and December 2011 … pouring of
new foundations, building new internal walls,
fabrication and erection of the new steel
structure to support the new roof.
9. End of January 2012,
installation of the new roof
Installation of roof panels was completed within just two
days work.
10. With the roof in place, work starts in
earnest on the inside
… and the outside
