Do you practice a fair grading system in your classroom? 39/50 or 78% (Fully Agree) Creating a fair grading system in the classroom involves considerin g a variety of external factors that can influence students' performan ce and outcomes. Here are some important external factors to consider when implementi ng a fair grading system: 1. Diverse Learning Assessments should align with the learning objectives of the course. This ensures that students are being graded on the skills and knowledge they were supposed to acquire during the instructional period. A fair grading system often includes a mix of assessment types such as tests, assignments, projects, presentations, and class participation. This A fair grading system ensures that every student is evaluated on an equal basis, regardless of their background, personal circumstances, or learning style. It promotes equal opportunities for success and helps prevent biases from affecting students' grades. When students perceive that their grades are determined fairly, they are more likely to stay motivated Establish transparent and well- defined grading criteria for each assignment, project, or exam. ORGANIZATION OF RESOURCES Do you differentiat e the needs from the wants in terms of expenditur e of resources in your classroom? 35/50 OR 70% (AGREE) Going with the trends as with the resources needed in the classroom ( tv, projector, white board) to prepare students for the 21st century using technologica l aids. The problem arises with the source of these resources- Technology and speed became synonymous with modern teaching it is for the reason that resources should be complete to sustain the needs of the students. But the value of these resources became one expenditure shouldered by Resources are vital both learning and material to the learners. Technology became a helpful tool in the learning resources but it can also be a costly thing and as what Deped had been advocating on the No Collection policy how can these resources be A teacher cannot accept that she can be a beggar especially during Brigada Eskwela and what is important here is that the public school is under the responsibilit y of the government therefore it should have allocated

It should not be a burden to the teachers especially that there is a need for these resources. Does the confidentialit y fund of VP Sara covers this? Or even the fiscal budget? 3. TIME ALLOCATION/PROGRA MMING Do you allocate time for the benefit of your favorite colleagues and not with the needs of the learners? 28/50 or 56% ( disagree to fully disagree) Time is a resource that needs to be allocated depending on the needs but then there are still people who are not conscious of With regards to school setting, there is the subject/learni ng areas with 8 weeks of delivery and instruction therefore every hour The allocation of time given to every learning area is for the promotion of a holistic learning as with what has been learned in Bloom’s Monitoring is highly recommend ed and it depends on how the school head plans on it. It is for the reason that a 21st century learner has to balance between being effective and efficient but then when it comes to time and resource managemen t efficiency wins in the end but if there are gaps in the way a task is tests still there is the question of how was the proficiency level of a student. Was he an effective or an efficient learner or both. Time constraints became one of the reasons for low results so with the lack of knowledge despite the changes in the curriculum aptitude and skills of learners. But then reliability of the test results can be not valid especially if the results are low and this is where Deped is at a mess. How to promote quality education through assessment became a standard and not because of interpretation. for the reason that there is a shift from the usual pen and paper to other methods like collaborative activities, worksheets, performance tasks where there can be innovation, creativity and enhanceme nt of skills

The Mission- Vision and Core Values are parts of the thrust of Department of Education as an institution and an organization therefore, these should be constant reminders to all stakeholders involved to make the organization a successful one. It is not enough that memorization is needed for the statements and the core values, there should be continuous application of these in all learning subjects and even outside the four walls of the classroom. Even if these have been pasted in the wall of the classroom, it would never be enough for memorization alone. Actions speak louder than words.
  • 33. 2. ORGANIZATION OF RESOURCES Do you have a deed of donation and acceptance drafted with stakeholder/s who furnish you with resources in your classroom? 24/50 or 48% (AGREE) Transparency and disclosure are needed in order to have good governance in an institution much more in an academic organization therefore there is a need for a black and white document to signify the cause, purpose and the goal so as not to create confusion and betrayal of trust It is for the reason that there should be documents in black and white not only for auditing purposes but also for full disclosure of accepting funds and other financial assistance to maintain the trust in an organization Because of money being one of the causes of corruption and malversation of public funds which can be a kind of betrayal of trust and it is also a way to make a person be accountable for his actions Financial reports and disclosure agreements are needed so as to observe transparency especially that finances are concerned. 3.
