This 7-day tour of Barcelona and Catalonia, Spain focuses on food, wine, and art. The itinerary includes visits to wineries in Penedes and Emporda, a cooking class and market tour in Barcelona, and time in the seaside village of Cadaques, home to artist Dali. Day One
-Arrive in Barcelona
-Our hotel is in the center of Barcelona; it’s time to get settled and relax.
-Afternoon panoramic sightseeing tour of Barcelona.
-Welcome dinner together at one of Barcelona’s colorful restaurants.
Day Two
-Morning visit to the world famous Penedes wine region. Our guided winery visit includes wine
and cava tastings.
-Afternoon visit to the beautiful seaside resort of Sitges, near Barcelona.
-Private walking tour of Barcelona’s central food market, La Boqueria, followed by a hands-on
cooking class.
-Our delicious dinner is the result of our cooking lesson.
Day Three
-Morning free time in bustling Barcelona for shopping and sightseeing.
-Transfer to the breathtaking Costa Brava region, north of Barcelona.
-Arrive at the colorful seaside village of Cadaques; Dali’s adopted home town, and ours for the
next 3 nights.
-Guided walking tour of Cadaques.
Day Four
-Morning visit to the historic village of Figueres, Salvador Dali’s birthplace.
-Explore the magnificent Dali Museum created by the avant-garde artist himself.
-Afternoon visit and tasting at one of the Emporda region’s noted and picturesque wineries.
-Dinner together in Cadaques enjoying a variety of local Catalan fare.

2. Day Five
-Morning hands-on cooking lesson, mastering the skills of Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine.
-Lunch is a leisurely feast prepared during our lesson accompanied by a selection of local wines.
-This afternoon we visit the scenic Costa Brava coastline and several medieval villages including
La Bisbal, Pals, and Peratallada.
Day Six
-Transfer back to Barcelona, enjoying the beautiful views, arriving in time to enjoy lunch and the
afternoon in this great city.
-Farewell dinner tonight will be a festive occasion in Barcelona, celebrating the food, wine,
friendship and art of this glorious corner of Spain!
Day Seven
-Transfer to the Barcelona airport in preparation for the flight back to America.
