                Customers

• Look for simple and cheap solutions for the real need of
  your customer, not just the solution that he initially
  requested

• Look beyond the local interests of the primary customers
  to see whether you can easily generalize an application
  to meet a broader need
Integrity and Intelligence: With
                Customers
• Do not allow the customer to intimidate you into
  making poor decisions.

• Be honest with your customers. Offer them accurate
  information, whether or not it is good news.

• If you agree to a commitment and something
  changes let the other people involved know as soon
  as you can, so you can work out an alternative.

               Managers

• Don’t say something that is not true just
  because the manager wants to hear that

• Agreeing to unattainable commitments is
  unprofessional and unfair to all involved,
  including yourself
