GOD HAS CREATED US
WITH NO LIMITS
Why we are working in limits?????
What barriers are there?????
Can we overcome these?????
Life is a journey We collect our experiences in
different stages of life but we keep this treasure
with us only if it is share with all may be their will
be no unsolved problem..
A DIALOGUE BETWEEN
DIVERSE GROUP CAN
SOLVE ALL ISSUES
EASILY. LOOK AT
THI S……. .
A DIALOGUE BETWEEN
DIVERSE GROUPS
SAMVAAD
Collective thinking
IT MEANS GETTING OPINIONS AND VIEWS OF ALL
BEFORE COMING TO ANY DECISION.SHARING IS THE
BEST REMEDY FOR EVERY PROBLEM.
STONE SOUP STORY
 One day a man visited to a village. People were
suffering from starvation due to famine. The man
said that I will prepare a delicious soup with my
MAGIC STONE. He took a big pan with lot of water
and ask everyone to put whatever small-small eatables
they have. He puts his MAGIC STONE in it . He stirred
it, kept it boiling very soon a delicious soup was ready.
ANALYSIS
We all have ideas, we all have creative thinking, we all
have our own experiences. It become miracle when they
all are collected. It was the theme of the story. Lets share
our thoughts to create a beautiful world around. There is
no problem which cant be solved.
World is full of happiness and worries but by collective
sharing we can convert worries into happiness. When we face
any problem in family what we do..?? We generally sit
together and solve all problem easily lets see how we can use
SAMVAAD in education.
FIRST LETS LOOK AT
WHAT ARE THE KEY ISSUES
OF EDUCATION?
 Job of a teacher
 Aspiration of a students
 Learning methods
 Behavior issues
 Class management
 School environment
JOB OF A TEACHER
 Remove fear
 Don’t give up
 Imparting knowledge
 Fear of competition
 Diversity welcomes diversity, it reduces competition.
ASPIRATION OF STUDENTS
 Connectivity with teachers.
 No partial behavior of teachers.
 Friendly environment of learning.
 Recognition by school authorities.
 Mutual understanding.
LEARNING METHODS
Traditional methods
 Test
 Notes making
 Case study methods
 Lecture method
 Observation method
BEHAVIOR ISSUES
 Fight and conflicts
 Suicides attempts (teenagers)
 Violence
 Arrogant
 Abusive languages
 Unethical dress code
CLASS MANAGEMENT
Inattentive students.
Noisy class rooms.
Damaged furniture.
Avoidance of classrooms.
HOW WE APPLIED MAGIC
OF SAMVAAD IN SCHOOL?
 Job of a teacher
 All the teachers have been given an informal environment in which
they had to imagine themselves in their school times. They had to
think about their ideal teacher with whom they were very comfortable
in learning with interest. They also had to think about the teacher to
whom they disliked and why?, and then everyone had been given a
task to compare themselves with the ideal teacher and the most dislike
teacher. It was a good tool to judge him/herself accurately.
STUDENT ASPIRATION
 We conducted SAMVAAD among diverse group (11th and 12th class) and between
mothers and teachers to find out what are the common issues and how these can be
overcome. We followed some rules to maintain better relations with students like
 Becoming role model
 Instead of becoming BOSS who say “GO” we will try to become LEADER who
always says “LET’S GO”.
 We (teachers/parents) decided that we will try to understand them before giving
them instructions.
LEARNING METHODS
Instead of using traditional learning methods this time
we tried some unique styles.
Earlier in our home science class students used to
cook for the sake of their subject but this time on
LABOUR DAY they cooked food for school labors and
served them their selves they learnt happiness of giving
and got inner satisfaction.
BEHAVIORS ISSUES ACTION
PLANS
 Introduction of yellow v/s pink card was a great success.
 Students will get yellow card if they do wrong and will be
awarded by pink card if they do something admirable.
 A conflict committee is made to resolve conflicts.
 A suggestion box and complain register has been made
available for students and teachers so that a democratic
atmosphere can be created.
CLASS MANAGEMENT
 Students has made their rules for class collectively and these
has been displayed in class by them, they have decided
consequences also. This team work is very effective because
this time no instruction has been given by teachers.
 Duties of classroom mgt is also divided in the students,
whole class participate in classroom management.
SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT
 School is a place for holistic learning to make its environment healthy we
followed some rules.
 Assembly is the best time when implicit values can be flourished.
 Sharing of experience by teachers in assembly has been started to motivate
them to take initiative as we know There is narrowness behind every silence.
 Housework has become a team work because now during One house duty one
other house will help in some of its duties so that sense of team spirit can be
developed.
 Each house will do something innovative or creative during its turn because we
will die waiting lets take initiative.
VISION
School time is the best time for a student to get all
round development. Being a teacher or
administrator of a school we have to work like a
gardener who irrigate land make land fertile put
seeds put all his effort to see his plants growing.
EXPLICIT V/S IMPLICIT
CURRICULUM
 Our expression shows our inner desire
 Whatever we do, whatever we express there is a hidden story.
 It was psychologically proved that we all are right because we all have
experienced different backgrounds.
 Example- A person who is very violent and aggressive there
might be a hidden story, so whatever he is doing it is his own
past experience. It is possible that he was also a victim of
aggressiveness , whatever he has got , he is giving.
HOW COMMUNITY AND CITIZENSHIP
CAN BE USED IN EDUCATION?
In schools if we all follow rules we must understand that it is for
our own betterment like a country cannot run without law an
order like wise and organization cannot run without rules and
regulations but we must keep in mind DEMOCRATIC STYLE
I am because we are
Togetherness, belongingness, collaboration.
Teacher is one who create curiosity and remove all fear in the
mind of students. She/he teach through his subject that
nothing is impossible because the word
IMPOSSIBLE says I M POSSIBLE…
A teacher imparts the whole knowledge he/she holds.
GIFT OF ENQUIRY & SPIRIT
OF DEEP LISTENING
SHOULD BE THE SOLE
MOTIVE OF EDUCATION
STEPS OF LIFE
 Welcome…
 By life..
 Journey…
 Collection of
expiriences
Return/Harvest
 What we collected and
spreaded
THE ESSENCE
 We are welcome by the life
 We learn throughout life
 what matters most is what we HARVEST, is it
beneficial for anyone only then the JOURNEY of life
is meaningful what we observe what we store it comes
out only and only by…..

  • 20. HOW WE APPLIED MAGIC OF SAMVAAD IN SCHOOL?  Job of a teacher  All the teachers have been given an informal environment in which they had to imagine themselves in their school times. They had to think about their ideal teacher with whom they were very comfortable in learning with interest. They also had to think about the teacher to whom they disliked and why?, and then everyone had been given a task to compare themselves with the ideal teacher and the most dislike teacher. It was a good tool to judge him/herself accurately.
  • 21. STUDENT ASPIRATION  We conducted SAMVAAD among diverse group (11th and 12th class) and between mothers and teachers to find out what are the common issues and how these can be overcome. We followed some rules to maintain better relations with students like  Becoming role model  Instead of becoming BOSS who say “GO” we will try to become LEADER who always says “LET’S GO”.  We (teachers/parents) decided that we will try to understand them before giving them instructions.
  • 22. LEARNING METHODS Instead of using traditional learning methods this time we tried some unique styles. Earlier in our home science class students used to cook for the sake of their subject but this time on LABOUR DAY they cooked food for school labors and served them their selves they learnt happiness of giving and got inner satisfaction.
  • 23. BEHAVIORS ISSUES ACTION PLANS  Introduction of yellow v/s pink card was a great success.  Students will get yellow card if they do wrong and will be awarded by pink card if they do something admirable.  A conflict committee is made to resolve conflicts.  A suggestion box and complain register has been made available for students and teachers so that a democratic atmosphere can be created.
  • 24. CLASS MANAGEMENT  Students has made their rules for class collectively and these has been displayed in class by them, they have decided consequences also. This team work is very effective because this time no instruction has been given by teachers.  Duties of classroom mgt is also divided in the students, whole class participate in classroom management.
  • 25. SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT  School is a place for holistic learning to make its environment healthy we followed some rules.  Assembly is the best time when implicit values can be flourished.  Sharing of experience by teachers in assembly has been started to motivate them to take initiative as we know There is narrowness behind every silence.  Housework has become a team work because now during One house duty one other house will help in some of its duties so that sense of team spirit can be developed.  Each house will do something innovative or creative during its turn because we will die waiting lets take initiative.
  • 26. VISION School time is the best time for a student to get all round development. Being a teacher or administrator of a school we have to work like a gardener who irrigate land make land fertile put seeds put all his effort to see his plants growing.
  • 27. EXPLICIT V/S IMPLICIT CURRICULUM  Our expression shows our inner desire  Whatever we do, whatever we express there is a hidden story.  It was psychologically proved that we all are right because we all have experienced different backgrounds.  Example- A person who is very violent and aggressive there might be a hidden story, so whatever he is doing it is his own past experience. It is possible that he was also a victim of aggressiveness , whatever he has got , he is giving.
  • 28. HOW COMMUNITY AND CITIZENSHIP CAN BE USED IN EDUCATION?
