1. THINKING HATS
I believe that each hat can be used depending on my role at hand and this depends on the situation,
who you are and all other sorts of factors.
If I am with someone who is analytical, and who needs like figures to back up all decisions, then I need
to use the white hat.
If I am with a happy person, I don’t want to be a party poop so I wear the yellow hat.
If I am in my role as manager , I wear the black hat.
The red hat, I do not intentionally put on, it just happens.
Now, while I am doing this assignment, I need the green hat.
Overall, the blue hat is needed. I always step away and do macro management…
I am most comfortable with the blue hat but I love doing analysis so I don the white hat a lot.
The least comfortable for me is the red hat. As much as possible , I do not want to be emotional nor take
risks so I always make sure my decisions are backed by figures.
