1. Risk Assessment
I will conduct both my adverts and my ancillary task in the studio, I
will also conduct a risk assessment, which will highlight the risks in
the room to be aware of. During this risk assessment I will also
highlight who the risks are a danger to, how I could minimize these
risks and who is responsible for looking out for these risks.

2. What is the
hazard?
Who might be
harmed and
how?
What further
action is
necessary?
Action by
whom?
Wires Models and
myself through
tripping up
over the wires
which are
scattered
across the floor
Alerting the
models of this
risk and to be
careful, and to
also clean these
wires up so
there are more
so along the
borders of the
room on the
floor as
opposed to all
in the middle.
Also the plug
should be put
in the nearest
socket and the
wires should be
stuck down
with safety tape
Myself and
other students
using the studio
for their tasks
Backdrop Models as the
backdrops may
fall off the
brackets
Alert the
models of this
risk and ask
them to stand a
little forward
Myself
3. away from
where the back
drop hangs
when shooting
so if it does fall
it will not hit
them
Electrocution Models and
myself as
liquids may be
brought into
the studio and
spill on one of
the many
electrical
equipment in
there, and them
to explode
Ask the models
to not bring any
liquids into the
studio and if
they wish to
have a drink, do
it outside the
studio doors
Myself
Lights Models and
myself because
the lights have
big stands and
they are very
easy to trip
over and injure
yourself
Make the
models aware
of each light
and their stand
and tell them to
be careful when
walking around
the studio
because they
are easy to not
notice and fall
over. Also if
someone falls
over them
there is a risk
that these lights
will fall and
injure another
person at the
same time
Myself
Wood Models and
myself as the
wood is a fire
hazard as one
Remove the
wood from the
studio so a
possible fire
Myself
4. of the plugs
could spark and
the wood could
catch light
wont catch on
to it
