14. LIKE + NOUN / LIKE + ING
You can like things or actions
If you like something, a NOUN, it must appear
in the plural form
I like carrots
He likes cars
She likes animals
If it is uncountable it cannot appear in the
plural form
My brother likes music

I don’t like carrots
He doesn’t like music
I hate animals
I don’t mind football

15. When we say that we like an action the verb of
the action must appear in the ING FORM.
