Sydney University Sport and Rec have partnered with Intelligent Play to be the first venue in Australia to use Artificial intelligence to help better manage their grounds. By being able to actively monitor their natural grass fields they can better utilize and manage them and better focus their maintenance practices.

the country to adopt an Artificial Intelligence
system to monitor usage levels and better
facilitate maintenance operations.

5. The Intelligent Play system means that many
pitch assessment operations can now be
carried out in real-time 24 x 7 meaning a much
faster response and a better ability to assess
for example actual usage.

6. The Intelligent Play system can be retro
fitted to existing light towers and uses its
smarts to identify players, machinery and
usage over the entire surface.

7. Venues such as Real Madrid FC amongst
others have adopted this throughout
their training facilities.

8. The system offers a small weather proof low voltage
sensor with a wireless 4G connection. Automated
alerts can be issued when field maintenance is due,
when movement is detected out of hours or when too
many players are on the field

participation data it gives can be used by facility
management for scheduling, managing busy and quiet
