8. CONCLUSION
The results of this paper do not support the use of
Nutrisphere-N or NZone as additives to granular urea for the
purpose of N conservation, as there was little effect of these
two additives on urea hydrolysis, ammonia volatilization, and
nitrification.
However, the data do support the use of established
additives, such as NBPT, nitrapyrin, and DCD.
