1. SWELL is about … Raising the achievement of ALL children in our SWELL community. Simply, there are children in our schools who are not learning as much, or as well as they could be…at all parts of the spectrum…(low achievers through to high achievers. In areas of literacy, numeracy, inquiry, engagement etc) To address this, to raise achievement, we need to pool our knowledge and skills together. So SWELL is about creating systems, processes and events that will enable all those who influence learning to share their expertise and grow their capability to positively influence the achievement of ALL our children. It is as simple as that …. and as complex.
