Fear Vs Phobia
Fear : A fear can be explained as a normal response to genuine
danger.
OR
PHOBIA :A phobia is defined as the unrelenting fear of a situation,
activity, or thing that causes one to want to avoid it.
 Almost everyone has an irrational fear. For most people, these
fears are minor. But, when fears become so severe that they
cause tremendous anxiety and interfere with your normal life,
they’re called phobias.
 A phobia is an intense fear of something that, in reality, poses no
meaning, place and no actual danger
 . However, we can develop phobias of virtually anything.
Phobias are something that can create imaginatively. Most
phobias develop in childhood, but they can also develop in
adults.
 If you have a phobia, you probably realize that your fear is
unreasonable, yet you still can’t control your feelings. Just
thinking about the feared object or situation may make you
anxious. And when you’re actually exposed to the thing you
fear, the terror is automatic and overwhelming.

phobias, it is thought that phobias run in families,
are influenced by culture and how one is
parented, and can be triggered by a number of
different life event

by attempts to avoid or conceal it.
 For example, a fear of flying can result in the individual being
unable to travel.
 In fact, some people have had problems with friends and family,
failed in school, and/or lost jobs while struggling to cope with a
severe phobia.
 If left untreated, then a persons life will seriously
affected,
 The phobia is so bad, as it limits a person's activities
and life.
 Many people with phobias, will go out of their way,
to avoid the things they fear. Phobias are likely
