Second Life users are called residents
Residents interact with each other through
avatars.

Residents can explore, meet other residents,
socialize, participate in individual and group
activities, and create and trade virtual
property and services with one another, or
travel throughout the world, which residents
refer to as the grid.
4. WHAT MAKES THE APPLICATION GOOD FOR
TEACHING AND LEARNING?
Second Life is good for teaching and learning
because it can allow students to model the
real world.
It could be taught in a digtial class or
computer programing or design class.

It for people eighteen and older
Its on-line so it might not be accessible to
everyone.
Its on the computer so a person will have to
be computer literate.
