1. Fostered Treatment
Israel Gordon had a difficult upbringing his entire life, his mother suffered with bi-
polar disorder, with his mother suffering with this mental disorder it meant that his
mother went through different faces where at one point she will be herself but most
of the time she wouldn’t’t making it hard for Israel to connect with is mother as
sometime she wouldn’t’t acknowledge his existence. When both Israel and his twin
sister where three years old their parents divorced leading both Israel and Gabriella
t be separated from each other. Because Israel sister ended up living with their
father it lead Israel to start becoming depressed as she was the only who she could
connect too as his mother was still suffering from her mental disorder, because
Israel felt to isolated at home he started to lose weight to a point that he was under
weight, as it was difficult for him to find food at home or to eat food at all. Because of
the relationship Israel has with his parents he found it difficulties communicating
with other children his ages and making friends, as he has never experienced the
acknowledgment of other people. One day a life changing event happens to him
meaning that he will never be able to have a relationship with his mother, leading
him to end up being handed to social services.
In 5 months in care a young woman named Aisha Rahim fosters Israel, the first time
that Aisha Rahim meets Israel she instantaneously welcomed him with open arms
while greeting Israel she gave him a kiss his head to welcome him with kindness, as
if he was already a member of her family. When Aisha Rahim was giving and
showing Israel some affection he had never experienced before from his mother or
anyone else before, it made Israel feel as if he could finally be seen and that he
existed making him feel vulnerable towards his new foster mother. Israel felt that
Aisha Rahim’s home was very comfortable and family orientated. Israel is having the
time of his life with his new family, doing activities he has never done with his
biological mother and father, making him finally feel a part of a family. Israel was
spending valuable time with his new foster mother, such as going to the park and
going to eat in restraints. By doing this with his new foster mother it made Israel to
stop feeling secluded. But one day everything starts to change including his
perspective of Aisha Rahim, which all started when he came across a picture of his
sister Gabriella in the living room of Aisha Rahim’s living room where he finds out
that his sister died.
By a tender age of three, Gabriella was taken to live with Israel's father while he
stayed with his mother since their mother could not bare to not be around none of
her kids despite her condition. On the other hand, Israel was unaware of his father's
mistreatment towards Gabriella, causing Gabriella to be fostered by Israel's same
foster mother, Aisha Rahim.
2. Aisha Rahim has being living to the point of anger and frustration which originates
from the fact that she was never able to bare a child of her own with her ex-husband
as she was infertile, all the years of trying with no results lead to her husband
leaving her. Henceforth her fixation of fostering kids. Fostering children allowed her
to have the opportunity to raise a child, which she thought would never be possible
before. But because of the entire tremor that she has been through, from not being
able to have her own child. Making her feel weak and pathetic. So if one of her
fostered child disobeyed her orders, it took Aisha back to that place in her mind
where she would never like to return to. Which start causes her to lash out on the
kids. Gabriella was the first child that Aisha fostered, and the first child to be killed
by her. The death of Aisha is something that she has kept a secret, and wants to get
passed that by fostering a new child.
When Israel lays his eyes on the picture he starts to feel Gabriella presences is
in the house with him. At night Israel starts to hear Gabriella's voice and starts
so see her faintly. When Aisha sees Gabriella for herself she calls the social
work to know how Israel and Gabriella are connected. Where she finds out that
Israel and Gabriella are siblings.
At this moment of time Gabriella starts to get closer to and closer to Israel and
starts to change Israel’s views on his new foster mother, because of what Aisha
did to her she wants the last say to what should happen to her. Gabriella never
wants to leave the house until she kills her, as she doesn't want her brother to be
in danger, so she stays lurking in the house watching Aisha.
