1. Film Inspiration
A psychopathic murder: - in my opening sequence I would
like to use an antagonist who is mentally unstable. The film
‘Seven’ inspired this decision because of their antagonist
who was a psychopath.
A Montage: - In my opening sequence, I’d like to use a
montage to show the protagonists life before she gets
murdered; ‘Seven’ also motivated this idea although it used a
montage to inform the audience about the protagonist’s life

2. Low-Key Lighting: - Many horror films use low-key lighting
to establish their genre, just like I’m planning to with my
opening sequence.
