1. Please use Qview Manual Install in Quality Center.
1. Get all the folders from Dimensions.
2. Extract the folders to a location where old directories are. Rename web.test.config to
web.config for all except Agent.Desktop.
3. Point the vdirs from IIS to these new locations.
Deployment of Qwest.AgentDesktop and Qwest.AgentDesktop.Vendor virtual directories
1. Get the Qwest.AgentDesktop-14.00.00.12.zip from IT4000.
2. Create copies of the zipped file in the two different locations for Qwest.AgentDesktop and
Qwest.AgentDesktop.Vendor virtual directories under the required 14.00.00.

3. Extract the zips in the same folders respectively.

Checklist Post Deployment
• Application pools
Verify
a. All the virtual directories are pointing to their respective application pools.
b.The Identity of the application pools are set to the configurable identity
ADqviewapp and not network services
In IIS Manager  the local computer  Application Pools, right-click the application
pool, and then click Properties.
Click the Identity tab, and click Configurable.
The User name should have “AD qviewapp”
• Security
Verify for each virtual directory:
a. Windows Integrated Authentication is set to true
b. Anonymous Authentication is set to false.
Check the authentication method at Web Sites  Default Web Site  Right click
on one virtual directory, select properties  Directory Security Tab  Edit
• Keep alive
Check that the setting “HTTP-Keep-Alives Enabled” on IIS is set to true.
• IIS Reset when any changes to the above checklist is made on both servers
