representative of the population, hence, allowing the study to be
inferred from the rest of the population, based on the results of

be carried out without having to investigate the whole
population, and it reduces cost, as well as the total workload. It
is also easier to get high-quality information if the sampling and
data collection is done correctly.
This study will involve approximately 300 participants
drawn from teens who are juveniles. Participants will be drawn
from rural and urban judicial systems. The composition of this
sample will include those who had multiple charges at arrest,
injured victims, damaged property, involved in a robbery, legal

felony charges, used weapons, among other factors (Balbi &
Triunfo, 2012). It is also necessary to get consent from the
participants and assure them of confidentiality and privacy.
The study will be conducted over a period of six months,
from data collection to analysis and presentation of results.
Before beginning the study, it is crucial to obtain permission
letters and approval from the court to be allowed to conduct the
study among juveniles. Authorizations may take more time to be
processed (Balbi & Triunfo, 2012). Interviews usually take time
because it is vital to be patient with the teens to get credible
