4. Design Considerations
1. Hull sizing
• Too much payload for the OPTI-EX Hull New Hull Design
2. Single lift of an integrated topsides with Heavy Lift Device (HLD) at
Kiewit Offshore Services
3. Center of gravity must be close to geometric center to not overload
one of the two HLD booms
4. Platform to possibly be installed in one of several fields identified by
LLOG Exploration
5. 25 year design life
6. Design for metocean conditions in Central Gulf of Mexico
7. Design to be a basis for future LLOG Exploration FPS

10. Condensate Stabilization
1. One reservoir had a very high content of C3, C4, & C5 (NGLs)
2. Oil Pipeline RVP requirements could not be met with “Normal
Processing”
3. Condensate Stabilization system added to separate NGLs from
crude oil stream
4. NGLs flow to the gas pipeline
5. Benefits gas sales due to higher BTU value

19. Future Developments
“One Size Fits Most”
• Delta House FPS is the basis for future LLOG Exploration deep water
developments
• Only need to tweak the Delta House design for specific PVT & site
specific information (i.e. resize compressors for specific GOR, etc.)
• Suggested operational changes are used from Delta House operators
• Benefits of the installation of modules/equipment on a single deck:
1. Platform components (i.e. modules, skids, buildings, etc.) can be
built off site and installed as delivered
2. For future developments, only remove and replace equipment that
is re-sized for process conditions
3. Engineering is minimized saving cost and schedule

Oil pipeline comes in first click
Gas pipeline comes in second click
Box highlighting area and label come in simultaneously with click –there should be a line connecting the box to the label
Ex. – red box around zzz-4023 will be highlighted as quarters building
Transition: each box, line and label will appear with a click. They won’t disappear, you’ll only add more boxes, lines and labels.
