culture and the different stages involved in
making those changes.
A snapshot of a group or team’s current culture can be
described as a frozen system, one that has taken time to
develop and is “stuck in its ways”. An ice cube.
Culture change requires melting the ice, changing its
shape, then refreezing into a new, frozen state. Culture
must melt, become new, then permanently frozen as the
new team culture.
Reflect on and answer the following discussion points as
a small group, position group, with a partner/ teammate,
as a coaching staff or by yourself.
After you have completed the questions discuss your
answers in a group or with a teammate/ staff member.
