2. If you think that the first science fiction book ever written is Jules Vern’s novel “From
the Earth to the Moon”, you are surly mistaken. Ancient Greek mythology has created
myths to interpret many inexplicable phenomena and specifically Lucianos has written a
story about an imaginary journey to the moon, 2000 years ago.

4. Lucianos
Lucianos was born approximately in 120 A.D and was from Syria.
In his play "True Story" he narrates a fictional trip to the moon.
He describes in a lively and enjoyable way the imaginary
inhabitants of the Moon, he meets after the ship in which he was
supposed to travel with was swept away by a hurricane and flies in
the air for seven days...
5. Lucianos
7. People who live in the moon believe that whoever happens to be bald is beautiful and they grow their beard
just over their knees. They don't have nails but they only have one toe. When they get tired or do exercise
they sweat milk in order to produce cheese out of it. Their eyes are removable and if they lose their own they
borrow others' eyes. Some of them, the wealthy ones, have many pairs in case they need an extra. A large
mirror is placed above a well that is not very deep. If someone were to go down in the well they will be able to
hear everything that is said on Earth and if someone looked carefully into the mirror they would see all the
countries and cities. That's when I saw my relatives and homeland, but I couldn't tell if they could see me too.
If someone does not believe that this s what it's like, and if they go themselves, they will realize I'm telling the
truth.
