1. Construction of my contents page
- First of all I transferred my masthead from my front cover on Photoshop onto
InDesign; I did this to make sure my magazine looks consistent and professional.
2. - Then I added my background colour, I chose this colour because it matches well with
my masthead and my overall colour scheme. I also added the date and the issue of
my magazine

- Afterwards I added my page numbers; I made them large so they stood out and also
used the colour red.
3. - I added a background to where my main headlines will go to make the text clearer.
- Next I added my main headline; I used black text as it was on a red/white back
ground so it’s easy to read.
- I then added my main heading ‘features’, making sure it stood out.
4. - I added an image of a guitar which I a connotation of the indie music genre. I also
added some more features.
- Finally I added an image of an artist, which relates to the headlines next to it.
5. - I made a few changes and added more text and a boarder around my image.
