Ozone magazine is known as the southern voice for hip hop music. This
magazine is quite funky compared to other hip hop music magazines.
However I will not be adapting its style on my magazine as much as the vibe.
However the colours and fonts are very eye catching and appealing so on my
magazine I would use similar fonts to these. The cover lines also give me
inspiration of what content I can include in my magazine as they appeal to my
target audience as well. On my magazine I will use a similar layout with my
cover lines on one side of the magazine and I may also have my artist
overlapping the masthead as it makes him appeal more dominate on the page.

3. VIBE
Vibe is a music and entertainment magazine founded by producer
Quincy Jones. The publication predominantly features R&B and hiphop music artists, actors and other entertainers. The magazine's
target demographic is predominantly young, urban followers of hiphop culture. The target audience of this magazine is similar to my
music magazine as I want mine to also appeal to the young male
audience. The colours are kept consistent through this magazine. I
would use a similar layout on my magazine with a mid shot and rule of
thirds. On my magazine I would use similar fonts as block, bold would
be mostly suited to attract my target audience as it is masculine.
However I think on my magazine I will not have the artist centred on
the magazine and I would have him slightly off centre to create a
sense of realism and gives it a more natural pose. I
