Requesting permission for location use for my music video filming.

2. Searching for stagecoach…
As part of the music video, bus is one of the important requirements, which made me curious whether or not I
would be able to get permission from stagecoach to film on a local bus. So I searched them on the internet to
find their contact number so I could call in directly and have a direct answer. I found their number and dialed it
on my phone.

3. Call to Stagecoach
After finding their number on the
internet I called them on 01482
222333 first and then when I asked
them they told me to ring 01482
222800, so I did.
The result with the final call was a
rejection of my request of permission.
This meant that I ask for my final hope,
college busses.

4. Permission for college bus use…
Due to the rejection of Stagecoach I e-mailed my tutor for advice, which I still have not received a reply. As a
result in order to save time I have come to a conclusion that I am going to change the plan and the story
board.

5. Research for number to call
In order to film, I needed to ask for permission for the location I was going to use which was Meze on Cottingham
Road. A Turkish restaurant with Turkish and Greek meals. I searched ‘meze hull’ through Google, and above were
the results that appeared. the section on the right was what I used although Meze have their own website as
shown through the box above.
So I added the number to my contacts as ‘Meze’

6. After adding them I made the call, which lasted 2 minutes. During the call I asked if they knew Turkish, which they
did. I was going to ask for the manager but knowing that they work as husband and wife there was no need. I gave
them the outline. They asked around what time and when, which I said i'm not sure yet I just wanted to confirm
and have your permission. We came to a conclusion that the best time for filming would be during week days and
either at 11am or 2pm. I thanked them and they said it was no problem.
