6.  The syllabus is approved by the Board
of studies. The board consists of head
department of as chairperson, one
University member and two senior
lecturers from near by colleges as
members of the BOS.

7.  20% change is adopted by the urdu
department and included the prose
and poetry selections of the noted
writers of the Nizamabad district. The
history of Urdu journalism and
historical places of Nizambad dist
lessons are included for the benefit of
the students.

10.  Students are guided by the department right
from taking admission to the completion of
course , further higher education and career
guidance.
 Students are provided with question bank,
computerized study material and online
material available on internet.
 All round development of students are look
after by the department.

11.  Teaching and learning process is completed
with lecture method, debate, question and
answer and e class room teaching.

13.  The department of Urdu encourages the students
for taking part in extra curricular activities like
writing and publishing articles in Urdu news
papers and magazines, Using facebook for
getting knowledge and taking part in other
subject activities like NCC and NSS.The students
also participated in the following programmes.

 Blood Donation Camps
 Swach Bharat Cleaning Programme
 World Consumers Day Programme
 Tree Plantation Programme
 National Education Day on 11th November.

15.  Students are encouraged to do small study projects
like portraits of Urdu poets, Urdu Proverbs and
poetry collection of various poets.

27.  Teacher performance is assessed by
the college with result as an indicator
of performance and the department is
maintaining more than 97% result and
aiming to have 100%.
 The students assessed the teacher by
daily feed back in the class room and
information through the feed back
forms.

28.  Evaluation of the students is conducted by
assignment and seminar of 10 marks, internal
exams of 20 marks and 70 marks of theory
semester exams.
 Slip Tests and other tests are conducted to boost
the preparation of the students.
 Previous question papers and question bank is
provided to the students.
